Chapter 10As Michael Mulrooney and Trevor Bailey entered the gaol, they were shown into a small, dark dank room where the interview was to be conducted. A solitary light bulb hung from the ceiling stained almost brown with the constant nicotine from the everlasting supply of cigarettes and tobacco, which had obviously been consumed there. Paint was peeling from the walls and the only furniture to be seen was a small table with four chairs arranged untidily around it in the middle of the floor.
