Chapter 26As usual Betty Oldroyd was in a happy mood as she reported for duty on ward 7. In order not to waste time, Brenda and she had a set routine which involved the first person to arrive collecting the tea tray from the ward station and taking it straight to the ward which housed Paula Harris. Brenda had seen her making the tea, and as a result she had gone straight to the ward. After opening the door she proceeded to open the windows in order to allow the clean fresh air to permeate the room, then it was time to roll the bedclothes, part way down, before they both sat down for their early morning tea.
