Certainly that was the case on this dull and rainy day, as the television newscaster intoned, “Police have discovered the body of a man believed to be in his late twenties in a disused warehouse in Manchester. We understand the premises in question had been used as a squat, and it was a known meeting place for drug users. The name of the person is being withheld until the body has been formally identified and the next of kin informed.
