Chapter 11Paula Harris was sitting on the floor. That’s where her husband had left her after another blazing row. Carefully, and hesitantly, she put her hand to her cheek, which still stung from the blow she had taken. Still badly shaken, she got to her feet, and made her way to the bathroom.
