After listening to Regina's account, the officer turned to Mabel and said, "Ms. Stone, based on what we've learned, Mr. Ryan's actions do not constitute an actual crime."
Then, looking at Colt, the officer continued, "What you are doing to Ms. Walker now does qualify as mild unlawful detention. You should release her immediately, or we will arrest you."
Regina didn't miss this opportunity. She quickly went back to her room, changed into her own clothes, and ordered the maid to bring her cell phone.
Then she walked to the door and stood beside Mabel. Finally, she said to Colt, "It's my work time now. I should go."
