Regina gently patted Gavin's shoulder.
Seeing her calm response, Gavin shot Colt a warning look before turning and heading back into the office.
Watching Gavin's reluctance, Colt felt his irritation grow.
"Regina, do you really think this doctor can protect you?"
Regina didn't have time for more arguments. The only reason she hadn't left yet was to avoid revealing her whereabouts.
She sighed impatiently. "You didn't come here just to say that, did you? What do you really want?"
Regina had guessed correctly.
"Come back to the old house with me."
Regina knew exactly why Colt's grandmother kept insisting they return. She wanted them to have a child as soon as possible—she was eager for a great-grandchild. Regina couldn't really blame her for that.
