As soon as Colt left, Milo's cold, calculating eyes shifted back to Regina.
Fiona noticed Milo's hostile stare and quickly patted Regina's hand. "Regina, it's getting late, and you've been taking care of your mother all day. You even came to join me for dinner. Why don't you and Colt go get some rest now?"
Grateful for Fiona's support, Regina wasn't about to be rude. She nodded, said a polite goodbye to Milo, and left.
However, even then, she didn't have much freedom.
She ordered a honey milk from the kitchen and decided to sit alone in the garden for a while.
