The phone kept ringing. Irritated, Colt paused and reached for his phone nearby. When he saw Wendy's name flash on the screen, he hesitated. Beneath him, Regina took the brief moment of calm as an opportunity to catch her breath. Just as she managed to steady herself, Colt pulled away abruptly. A wave of weakness and soreness spread through her waist, leaving her unable to move. Colt, however, was already up and getting dressed, preparing to leave. Remembering her still-bound hands, Regina spoke coldly. "Untie me before you leave." Despite his rush, Colt didn't forget his conditions. "Until I get this month's divorce payment, you're not going anywhere." With that, he grabbed his phone and called Phyllis. "We're heading to the hospital."
