Regina returned to the hospital, her mind heavy with worry, and as always, Gavin was there to comfort her.
As she sipped the hot milk he handed her, she felt an overwhelming sense of gratitude. She couldn't imagine how much more difficult things would be without Gavin's support during these tough times.
But after she finished the milk, Gavin didn't leave like he usually did. Instead, he sat down beside her and said, "Regina, don't worry. I've asked a friend of mine who works at the platform to look into it and find out who's behind all this."
Regina was shocked to hear that.
If things didn't go well, he could end up getting doxxed or attacked by those people, too.
She quickly tried to stop him. "Gavin, you've already done more than enough for me. Please don't put yourself at risk."
