Regina, reeking of alcohol, sat alone in the tavern until dawn before finally making her way to the hotel. Just as she was getting ready for work, her phone chimed with a text message. It was a hospital bill. Seeing the 200,000 dollar charge, Regina’s heart lurched. Immediately after, Mabel called. “Don’t worry about the money. If you need more, just let me know.
