My phone buzzed on the table. Again.
I looked at it. A new text from Colt.
‘Thinking of you. When can I see you again?’
I didn't reply. I felt sick. Guilty. It had been three days since our date. Three days of secret calls. Sweet words. Hidden smiles. But every time Jax looked at me, my stomach twisted.
