MEDDIE’S POV Now I understand the need for charities all around the world, the good work that the NGO’s do feeding the world’s poor. I always took everything for granted. My life, my family, my friends, my education, food…Especially food. Now that I have to work to even glimpse at the kitchen, I realize how it feels to be hungry all the time. My eating timings are so bizarre, even dieticians would suggest I eat like ten meals a day just to make up for the past two days. After that day in the dining room, I made sure to only leave my room after everyone else was already gone for work, or was out of the house. I don’t want to see their faces anymore. If I am to be alone all my life, then so be it. I’ll make a living out of it. Even if the best I can get is being a maid my whole life. T
