Chapter 5

Sienna's pov I didn't know how long I stared at the picture but I paused for a while, a sigh escaping my lips. I had missed her but it seemed like her disappearance didn't want to be discussed. After placing the picture back where I found it, I strolled back to the balcony only to see him. I paused, my face turning pale but I guess he didn't need to look my way to know where I was. “The evening seems nice isn't it?" I swallowed. Two weird encounters and now he was here again. What did he really want from me? "Yeah, yeah it is.” I tried so hard to ease the tension that burned between us, or maybe me because I was felt hot just because of his presence. “And you're my fiancée now right?" He asked again, making a lump form in my throat. I felt my nerves tense so I kept shut for some time. "I guess so.” He finally stopped leaning on the railings then turned towards me. There was this look in his eyes that made me freeze. "No please, not here. What if someone catches us?” I said inwardly as I hoped he wouldn't think of making love here. “You look…” he took a few seconds, his eyes scanning my small frame before he spoke up, "stunning.” I swallowed, forcing a smile. "Thank you.” I didn't know why or maybe I did but I was so f*****g shy right now. I couldn't even respond to his words well enough. Silence reigned, and the awkwardness in the air, mainly from me was high. He cleared his throat lightly to tame the silence. “Remember our conversation earlier, right?" He began to take slow steps towards me, causing me to panic inwardly. I stood still, my gaze fixed on him until he stopped right in front of me, his breath fanning my face. “Y-es, yes I do." He nodded. “That's nice to hear. I'm glad you know what to do. Can't wait to see you after the party." My eyes widened. I didn't expect him to still want to see me today. I mean, we had s*x last night, and this morning in his office, and now he wanted more, how horny was he? "Why do you look shocked? I thought we spoke about it earlier, don't tell me you forgot.” I swallowed. I didn't forget, but I didn't expect him to be this serious as well. "Well thank goodness I asked you. It would have been a shame to not see you again tonight.” I was taken aback. “I believe we've had enough affairs for a week. I mean…" I trialed because he inched closer using his hands to wrap around my waist before flashing me a smile. “You enjoyed it, didn't you?" My brows twisted in a knot. Of course I did, but too much of everything was bad especially in this case scenario. “I did, but–" “Then I'll give you my address. It wouldn't hurt to have another round of fun. I mean it crazy, but it's true am I right?” I bit down on my lip. The offer sounded tempting, and for a weird reason, my body wanted him so bad. "I'll be waiting for you.” He said, then pulled out a card. He picked my hand, pushed the card into it and flashed me a smile before he walked away from there. My body felt giddy, my mind racing. He was my fiancée and that was a fact, but this frequent meetings could lead us in trouble. I frowned. I didn't want this to keep going on. Besides, I received enough insult from dad today despite not caring but it still hurt. I stared at the card lot in thoughts as I pictured what was going to happen. I shook my head, scolding myself. "No, you have to tell him it's over. No more of these–” "It's great to finally see you're trying to do the right thing. At least your father won't scold you anymore.” I snapped my head towards the voice and aunt Kathy was the one there. “Your father was right. He's doing this for the family. Besides, you'll thank him for this. You're marrying into a wealthy family, and trust me, you'll be treated well.” I scoffed. I hated the idea they were trying to sink into my head. I knew I was a literary student, but then trying to sink the idea that happens in books into reality was something odd. "I don't think you know my father. He wants what he wants for himself. He never cared about me only Elena. I'm just a shadow of her. Besides, the only way to let me out of his hair is to push me away into marriage." She shook her head, wearing a convincing smile. “You know that's not true. Your father might have just been hurt all these years." “You mean all I can remember right?" I sighed. “Stop trying to paint him as a saint aunt. This deal is saving him. I am doing him a favour by marrying into this family against my wish, so please stop trying to convince me of my father's love. It never exists." I walked out on her, my expression ruined. I never expected her to eavesdrop on me like that. The party was still going on but I returned to my room. My mind raced with possible questions and answers that I wasn't sure were meant for them. I was marrying my professor, our engagement wasn't made public yet and now we had been sexually attracted to each other for the past days. What bothered me the most was that he wanted more. I pressed my lips together, grabbing my phone as I texted Eden. “Could you cover up for me. I want to leave the house and I don't want dad to worry. I'll tell him I'm spending my night with you.” I hit the send button and in less than two seconds she responded back. "Where to girl?” "To clear my head. I'm going to be married soon and I need to live my best life now before I get stuck in marriage forever, thanks.” I added some heart emoji before sending then I breathe a sigh of relief. No more of these meetings! Elias and I needed to address that tonight.
