First Chapter

"And the Best Lead Action in Male category goes to-," she takes a brief pause looking down and breaths the rest of her sentence, "-to Benji Hilton."

The crowd is literally clapping for him. Some are screaming his name. Some are simply happy that he is nominated and is being awarded while some are simply jealous.

He stood up and people around him greeted him for his success. Some are patting his back, some shaking his hand and some hugging him.

He is walking towards the stage amidst some people giving him fake smiles and some genuine smiles.

But he isn't giving a damn about them. I admire it about him.

He isn't a born artist who has stardum immediately after they open their eyes. I still remeber seeing him as a soap opera artist. He was this young kid still in his early twenties back then. Many girls fall in love with those Pale Sea Blue eyes and light stuble on that face. I can't deny the fact I used to have a crush on him in high school.

I remember his mother telling me how her kid who was supposed to give audition for a jean brand ended up having a job offer as a soap opera artist. Her eyes always shine when she tells that story. Lucky bastard always makes his mother proud.

"Give him a big round of applause everyone." See. This senior actress is clearly smitten by this young man's charm. I mean who couldn't? At the age of 32 he barely looks like he is crossing 25 years. With his chieseled jaw, those insanely rugged looks and that deep voice! He is definitely the Power Packed Man.

He wins many hearts wherever he goes and he has done that from the beginning of his acting career. Those light Sea Blue eyes of his are killing for a man with dark honey messy blonde hair and the sun kissed skin of his makes his eyes pop out.

Ohh and I haven't mentioned those light pink full lips!! Just imagining them makes my mouth salivated. But I know my boundaries. I am never going to mix work with pleasure!

I watch him walking over the stage and thanking the woman. He briefly hugs the woman and she is squealing with joy? Oh com on. Even I know that's a bit too much for her to do in a live event. Or else why is she having that never ending smile showing off her gums like that? Anyways who cares? He kisses the lady's cheek lightly and murmur a thank you I guess??

The corners of my mouth twitch upwards as he receives the Award. he looks at the crowd where his mother is sitting with his step father. I am not going to say father as Ben, I mean Mr. Hilton never sees him like one. It is a story for another time, but both of his parents are happy for him. I am sure they are going to be again as he gets the award for 3 years straight!

It is for a Sci-Fi movie in which he did his stunts without an extra. I guess he is willing to get over his fears at last. He too is having some dark secrets which he burries and lets out! Some are so hedious that no one can imagine what he went through.

I admire that about him too. 

But I never find the answer to the question. Is he running from all those fears of his? Isn't he supposed to face them? I shake my head. Not my place to wander around. I chant it in my head and focus in front of me.

"Thank you." He breaths briefly and scans the crowd. He murmurs carefully wihtout breaking eye contact, "I am so honored to have been your first choice for this beauty." He raises the award and nods at it. "I guess my work paid off as it is shining off your eyes."

The people cheer as they show how much his words mean for them. I give an eye roll to the crowd. Like literally!! Who's he? God? These people treat you like one if you play nice.

Mr. Hilton shoots his smile and I am damn sure it must have made many hearts skip a beat, many legs wobble and many panties twisted too!!

"Thank you my Team. Mr. Gibson. The entire crew of 'Parallel Worlds'. Thank you ACE Awards. He pointed the golden doll in his hands to his mother and mumbles into the mike, "Mom, everything is for you."

He blows a boyish flying kiss to her and his mother is like she is as happy as a cow milking her cub!! But like everytime he does something unexpected, he winks at a direction where most womens are sitting. It most likely is in a direction which is behind me.

He confuses me sometimes. I look behind and see no one but a wall. Then it strikes me hard. 

He winked at me!!
