Laura’s POV: “I am starving. Let’s go out for dinner,” Xee announced all of a sudden. I was quick to protest, “No need. I am full, just drop me at the hostel!” Right at that time, my body betrayed me as my stomach growled loudly in denial. Valentine looked down at my belly and said with a hint of a smile, “Well, someone doesn’t seem to agree with you!” Huffing, I crossed my arms in front of my chest and turned toward the window, “Okay, fine. A dinner is just a casual meal. It doesn’t have to mean anything, right?” Gosh, why was I getting awkward about it? Xee was quick to reply, “Absolutely right.
