Laura’s POV We walked the dark corridors in the dim light emitting from the torch. The man was grabbing my hand in a tight hold while walking briskly. I was panting, “Uncle John, can we please walk slower? I am getting tired.” His pace didn’t slow down, “No, kiddo. We must hurry up.” I huffed out, “You are a big man but I am just a 3-year-old girl with tiny legs.” Jogging forward, he insisted, “We don’t have much time.” His words were not registering in my immature mind.
