Laura’s POV:
Chilly air ran down my spine and I scooted back to steal his warmth but to my surprise, there was only a cold and very empty mattress beside me. My eyes flew open and I sat up. My gaze scooted around the room but there were no traces of Xee.
Getting out of the bed, I stretched my arms over my head when I realized how butt naked I was. Deep blush adorned my face as the images of how ruthlessly Xee f****d me last night flashed in my mind.
Collecting my clothes off the floor, I slipped them on and went to the washroom to freshen up. Returning to the room, I waited for any living soul to make an appearance. After about half an hour when the door was still closed, I decided to go out.
