[Mary’s POV]
After school and soccer practice was done, Tommy was - like always - waiting for me by his car at the parking lot.
Rumors about our upcoming wedding had started to spread, and we had all of a sudden become the new hot topic of the school, and I hated it.
People were staring and whispering behind our backs. It had definitely been easier to be invisible. Tommy was greeting me with a quick hug, before we both jumped in to the car and I started to put the seatbelt on.
“My mom said that she and your aunt are taking us for wedding preparations tomorrow morning.” Tommy stated as he started the car, and I turned to look at him with knitted eyebrows.
