“Mary! I need you to wear this!” My aunt, Anita, stated as she came through the door, without even knocking.
She held out some blue dress made from a material looking like satin.
Just from the look of it, it was clear to me, that the dress was quite expensive, and my uncle and aunt normally never bought anything for me, that they knew they could get much cheaper another place.
“Why? You never bought me something like this before?” I asked confused.
I didn’t have any idea what they were up to, but I knew it had to be something big.
“Would you stop being like that, and just take it! Here we are taking care of you, and all you do is complain! And please put some makeup and some nice heels too.” She reprimanded, before she placed the dress in my hands and walked out.
