I woke up the next day feeling much better than last night. I smiled as I watched Maverick sleep next to me. He looked so at peace and vulnerable as he slept.
My heart ached when I thought of how much pain he is in. If the doctor knows of the repercussions of us having our own little ones, Maverick will obviously know that too. Yet, he kept it all to himself
Last night I made a decision, one I will live regretting for the rest of my life but I needed to do it. For the sake of his future, I needed to make this decision.
