It's been two days since I gave birth and it has been an ecstatic journey. Aside from being deprived of sleep, I was totally enjoying this beautiful journey of motherhood.
"How is he?" Phil who had been away asked as he walked in
"Good, too good I'm jealous" I said gazing at the sleeping boy. I would have taken a nap now that he is asleep if not for the fact that I couldn't bring myself to sleep.
"Congratulations Hazel" he said smiling
"Thank you so much Phil" I wasn't just thanking him for his wish but because his gaze on Mason assured me. Mason is lucky, he has a lot of people around him who will do anything to protect him and as his mom, I couldn't be more grateful for that.
