Chapter 24
From time to time, Masters Gorō and Jūzō would hold informal chats over tea or sake in either of their places. An ordinary person would think they were just that - informal chats. But the fact is, not all of those “chats” are casual. Not a few of those chats were actually long and intense discussions that played a crucial role in the lives of the Yamanoha ninjas, and even of the Yamanoha clan itself. But figuring out which teatime chats are serious or not is an extremely complicated situation. Almost everyone left the two masters alone to their impromptu discussions and do not even bat an eyelash if one suddenly decides to visit the other. It was hours ago late in the morning when Master Gorō dropped by to have some tea with Master Jūzō.
