Hiro's Journey

A DIRE SITUATION

Hiro had honestly already gave up, but as he was about going home, he remembered that it was only 8 o'clock, which meant he still had to go to school.

School was still normal, actually, except for the creation of the M.R.C.U and the change in history nothing much had changed from before, sure humans where now mutants but life was still more or less the same, people still got regular jobs, kids still went to school, and bad people still did bad things.

He eventually got to school and headed to his class, but he couldn't concentrate, the only thing that was on his mind was losing the M.R.C.U form, and how disappointed he was with himself.

The bell finally rang and class was over, just then his teacher called him, and asked

"Hiro, you haven't turned in a form yet, does that mean you want to stay in a dump like this?","No sir" Hiro replied, "then why haven't u handed in a form yet?", "it's because.....", Hiro then remembered how he had lost the form he had and didn't want to go to any other school, then he looked at his teacher and said "I want to get into the M.R.C.U, but they're no forms available, so I..... don't wanna hand in a form".

After hearing what Hiro had just said, his teacher was amazed at his determination. He knew he was a non-mutant and yet still wanted to join the M.R.C.U, but he knew this idea was nearly and impossible task for him, so he just told Hiro "look, I'll give you till tomorrow to hand in a form, in case you change your mind, okay?".

Hiro felt like it was useless but agreed any way, he went to the rest of his classes and by 3 o'clock, school was over.

He decided to take a shortcut, at least that way he could avoid running into trouble, his day was already bad enough, he didn't need any one to bully him right now. He took a couple of turns into a back alley, when he saw three guys beating up a little girl. The guys seem to be probably eighteen but the looked only seven or eight, but they where kicking her. He came a little closer, hiding behind a wall, and heard one of the guys saying "I said give us all your money, or the pain keeps on coming", Hiro was scared, he didn't know what to do, he couldn't just leave the girl and pretend like he didn't see them, but at the same time he couldn't just jump in or he might get beaten up too.

Hiro was still indecisive when he heard the guy saying "you've wasted or time, there's no use keeping you alive anymore" as Hiro heard these words, his heart skipped a beat, he's seen cases where people where beaten up because of money, but never killed, he wanted to call the police but they wouldn't get here in time, he needed to do something and quick. As the man lifted up his hand, his entire forearm had been turned into a tigers claw, as he brought down his claw, Hiro jumped straight out from behind the wall and grabbed the girl, taking her out of harm's way, the claw managed to tear the back of his school uniform and his left shoe but he himself had no physical injury. He tumbled on the floor and held the girl tightly, making sure she didn't get hurt, "hey who are you?" the man said as he looked at Hiro "look, don't get into trouble that doesn't concern you, now run along before I make you sorry" the man said as he was walking towards Hiro.

As the man came closer Hiro hurled a rock straight at his face, but he dodged the rock at the last second, as the man looked at Hiro, he could see tears in his eyes, then Hiro began to speak "I can't just let you kill this girl, all my life I've been teased and bullied, I've been made fun of and beaten up just because I wasn't a mutant, and now here you are trying to kill someone who is a mutant over money that isn't yours?, when I think of people like you, they disgust me, which is exactly why I want to join the M.R.C.U so that I can beat up people like you who pick on people like this little girl", immediately Hiro was done with his speech, the two boys behind the guy who had a tigers claw burst into laughter, " how do you plan to join the M.R.C.U when your that wimpy" one of them said "yeah, and your a non-mutant?, it seems you got a couple of screw's loose " the other said , suddenly the man in front spoke up " Jimmy, Xavier that's enough", just then both of them stopped laughing and looked at Hiro "and as for you, I don't have time for you if your so eager, then you can die too", he then slapped Hiro in the stomach which sent him flying 10feet away crashing into a wall, the man then looked at the girl and said "see what you made me do?, now I had to kill that kid because you couldn't just hand over the money", he then grabbed her by her hair and raised her in the air and threw her to the ground.

Hiro was bleeding from his head and mouth and could barely move, but still struggled to, because if he let that girl get killed, he could never forgive himself, as he got out of the pile of rocks, he saw the man walking towards the girl with his tiger claw, and saw the girl lying on the floor already bruised, as Hiro saw this he became furious, he was the angriest he's ever been, he never expected a human in their right senses would do this to a little girl, he remembered how they mistreated him, and beat him up just because he couldn't fight back, they laughed at him because he was a non-mutant, but he never expected someone to be so heartless. As the man got closer to the girl he yelled "get up twirp" as he kicked her in the stomach, the moment Hiro saw this, he couldn't hold himself anymore, his heart beat got faster and he could feel a tingling sensation in his hands, with all he had he leapt forward 10 feet towards the man at an incredible speed, as Jimmy and Xavier saw this they where shocked as they thought he was a non-mutant, as the man turned back to see what was happening, all he saw was a fist straight at his face, as Hiro's fist connected with the man's face, the sound of his jaw cracking was heard and the wind pressure from the punch was so great that both Xavier and Jimmy where finding it hard to withstand it, even the girl the man was holding flew back about 6 feet away, eventually Xavier had lifted of the ground and flew back about 3 feet while Jimmy just ran away, dust was everywhere and when it cleared up the man had flown 15 feet crashing into the side of a wall and was completely unconscious, while Hiro was on the floor. He couldn't move, he felt like his muscles where numb and he couldn't move them, he felt paralysed , his eyes where getting foggy and a million thoughts were going through his head "was that me? am I a mutant after all? is that guy dead? why can't I move? is the girl alright?" just before losing consciousness he saw a man walk up to him holding the girl safely in his hands, the man knelt over and said "you've done enough", Hiro then said in his last few seconds of consciousness "who.... are.......you?" he then lost consciousness
