How can both Darius and Dane feel the same? That made no sense.
When I told Bella that, she was quiet for a while.
‘I don’t know how,’ she finally said when I reached the castle, shifted, and got into the car that was waiting to get me back to the academy. ‘But bonds never lie. There is more in common between them than meets the eye.’
I spent all the way back to school haunted by questions and speculations that made my temples throb. When we arrived, it was almost morning, so I just changed quickly and headed toward the one person who might give me an answer that wouldn’t make my head explode.
