It was over. Finally.
Christina’s stepfather and his wretched son were now on their way to prison with the best guards available, and the Riverfang Pack had finally settled down after the turmoil that had rattled their whole community. Their Alpha’s crimes had been made public as had his punishment, and their new Alpha, Lena, had ordered them to keep their mouths about the whole ordeal, or they’d face consequences.
