The Former Queen invented the incantation spell? Darius’s mother?
But… how was that connected to the book I got from the library? Did she write that one, too? There had been no author name or any distinctive marks on the cover or any of the pages, yet I was positive this lucid dreaming spell was almost identical to the one I knew about the soul-detaching.
Was this a coincidence? Did someone place that book there for me to find? It had happened just when I had started awakening my magic. I thought it had been luck—even joked about there being a ghost who was trying to help me—but now… now it felt like it was so much more.
Could it be that the spirit of Darius’s mother wanted me to have this book? Was she… helping me? Trying to tell me something? No, that was nonsense!
