Estella’s POV I collided with Lionel before he even finished shifting. He dug his legs into the ground, bracing hard, and I had to admit he was strong. The purple ring around his irises told me he’d taken a rejuvenation potion recently, which meant our strength was almost evenly matched. In terms of speed, though, I was much faster. I stopped trying to push him on the ground and darted sideways, slamming my shoulder into his still-human legs.
