Am I dreaming?

He grabbed my waist pulling our bodies tight against each other. 'I don't know who you are, I can't see your face, I can't feel you but at the same time I do...' I thought to myself.  I moved my head to look up at him his dark almost black hair was in his face. What I could see of his face was handsome, a chiselled jawline with warm-tones skin.  His hand traced my cheek as he studied my lips. 'They look so kissable and soft...' I could hear his thoughts trail off.  Our eyes shut as our lips met. He pulled back letting his hand fall to his said again as he released me.  "Wait," I breathed regaining the breath he took from my lips. He began to step backwards away from me into the mist behind him.  "Wait, come back!" I pleaded as I raced out towards him.  He bowed his head as he turned around and disappeared into the grey mist.  I reached where he once stood, my arms waving in the ever-thickening fog, hoping I could clear the mist to show me where he went or where he was hiding.  I screamed out in frustration as I realised my actions made no difference. The air began to feel really thin, making me start coughing for more. Panicked I pushed through the mist hoping I was going the same way I originally came. A lightheaded feeling passed over me as everything began to blur and fade together.  A scream escaped my lips as I tripped over falling out of the mist into the pool of blackness below. My lips felt heavy as I tried to scream harder.  My voice sounded hoarse to my ears as the scream filled the room. I sat up ridged on my bed breathing hard, my heart pounding in my ears.  I felt my chest and looked around me confused about whether I was still dreaming. I took a deep breath and calmed myself down pretty sure I wasn't dreaming.  "That was so weird, I don't remember falling asleep..." I muttered to myself.  I rubbed my eyes before looking at my watch. "f**k!" I swore as I raced off the bed stumbling across my unclean bedroom into my study.  I slammed on my headset and switched on the computer pleading I wasn't too late. I quickly clicked the link to my online class.  "Come on... Come on..." I impatiently tapped on my mouse as it loaded.           --Link Invalid-- --Host in another meeting-- "Dammit!" I yelled slamming my arm down on the desk. "Ow..." My elbow hit the corner of the desk sending pain and tingles down my whole arm.   I looked back up at the screen on the off chance that it had changed. The screen flickered slightly before the coloured screen was distorted with parallel lines of pixels.  "what the-?" I was suddenly plunged in darkness as the power went out in my house.  "Seriously?" I sighed pulling out my phone and turning the torch on.  Immediately I did a double-take.  A man stood in front of me his back to me. He was a good head and a half taller than me, his shirt was were on the shoulders.  I was frozen in shock, how the hell did he get into my house? My mouth was gaping as my brain slowly caught up with what was happening. I took a quick breath in before taking a small step forward trying to remember what was around me in case I needed a weapon.  As soon as I put my for down he spun around looking at me with a completely identify-less face. Skin covered every feature of his face, he didn't even have a nose. He lunged towards me and I jumped backwards trying to get out of the way. I heard his voice yell in my head "Watch out!" as he dived to cover me.  I felt every hair on the back of my neck stand on end as he was about to contact me. When his skin touched me he disappeared into a grey mist that faded away to reveal the yellow light and cream coloured ceiling of my study. My study was just as I left it with the power still on.  My body hurt all over as if a lot more happened to me then just falling on the floor. I looked down at the phone in my hand and saw that the torch was still on.  I quickly turned it off and stood back up placing it down on my desk.  "What the Hell is happening?"  Out of habit, I looked at my watch to see over an hour had passed, making me even more confused.  I took my headset off and went down the hall to the kitchen to get a glass of water.  The house felt really quiet tonight which just made me feel more scared. I picked up my home phone and called my friend who lived a little while away.  "Can you come over?" I asked immediately down the phone.  "Woah, hey. Sure, honey, I just need to finish this but I guess I can. What happened? Everything okay?" She replied concerned.  I rubbed a hand over my face letting it settle on my jaw to relieve some of the tension I didn't know I was holding. I had been holding my jaw clenched shut the whole time making my teeth and jaw ache.  "Hey? You still there? Ruby?" my friend asked breaking me out of my trance.  "Um, yeah sorry. I'll, um, explain when you get here. Something's not right with me... I can't explain it." I frowned.  She told me she'd be there soon as she hung up. I sighed placing the phone back in its holder.  I tried to think about what I was going to tell her, how do I explain what I saw without sounding crazy?  I don't know how long I waited because it felt like seconds but that's impossible she lives 15 minutes away.  All I remember was suddenly being face to face with her. She was clicking her fingers in front of my face while calling out my name.  I came back to reality with a jump at the sharp sound of her click. I grabbed my heart in surprised.  "Sorry I didn't mean to scare you, I just didn't know how to get you back on this dimension," she apologised, "so what's happening? You're lucky I still have a key here to let myself in." "Okay... well, I'm seeing things, it's like my dreams are following me into the real world. I can't tell when I'm dreaming and when I'm awake. Does it seem like time is moving super fast for you at the moment, Tash?" I asked as she led me to the dining room table to sit down.  "Seeing people? Like ghost? Or like hallucinations?  Do they talk to you? Have you been drinking or taking anything?" she questioned in return.  "No. I haven't taken anything." I sternly replied.  "I had to ask," she shrugged.  "But I guess you could say that they're like a ghost, he's almost like the same person from my dreams. I've been dreaming about he before this but I've never seen him in real but I know he's real? I don't know how to explain it. He called out to me, he said 'watch out' but it wasn't like this" I gestured to us," it's not like how we're talking. It's more like when I've heard him talk in my dreams, I hear it all in my head."  I took a sip of water before continuing, "I know it sounds crazy. It felt like I really knew him though, I'm not sure why or what from. Weirdly he kinda felt so real but I'd remember someone like him. When he touched me, before he disappeared, I could his emotions? I don't know I just know I know him..."  "That's weird and confusing..." she raked her painted fake nails through her blond hair.  "Yeah, I just really don't want to be alone in case it happens again," I glanced at her worried.  "It's fine, I'll stay with you for a bit, I would feel the same if I was in your position," she let out a breath, " okay. I'm going to use the bathroom then we're going to sit down and write a few things out."
