Renee snapped, then stormed out of the Welch's house.
Her phone buzzed in her bag again, but she didn't feel like answering. Who else could it be but Jack? He was probably trying to get her to come back.
But the incessant ringing grated on Renee's nerves. She picked it up without even glancing at the caller ID.
"I'm not going back, so give it a rest!"
There was silence on the other end for three seconds before a deep, captivating voice spoke up, "Renee? You're having a fight with someone?"
"Mr. Morton?" Renee was caught off guard.
"Where are you?" Hans asked.
It was then that Renee noticed it was getting dark around her. "I'm heading back now," she hurriedly replied.
