The room was dark and silent. Katherine stirred awake and her body ached, oh so painfully from the night's...... adventures. Ahem.
Her mind was clouded as she still tried to process everything that had happened between her and Lucifer. She shifted slightly on the bed and the silk sheets felt so cool against her skin. Beside her, Lucifer lay still while he slept. From the light that filtered into the room through the heavy curtains she could see that his face was serene.
