Katherine felt like she had just been hit by a ton of bricks.
She knew she was in her bed, but she was also entirely unsure of how she even got there in the first place. Her eyes fluttered, slowly blinking open. The lights radiating from the ceiling made it difficult for her to open her eyes properly.
As soon as she attempted to peel them open, the light instantly flashed in her eyes, making her head throb and she lightly groaned in pain.
Lucifer who was sat in the chair by the bed, hurriedly stood up, towering over her small body which lay on the bed. Once again, her eyes fluttered open, but this time she met light blue eyes peering back at her.
