"Daddy, when is she coming?"
Napailing ako habang nakangiti nang muli kong marinig ang tanong na iyon. He asked it for how many times already na hindi ko na mabilang. I looked at him, creasing my brows.
"NZ, I told you I don't know. She said it'll be a surprise. So when you hear a knock on the door, run and open it for her," I patiently replied. He cutely pouted.
"How about my sister? When is she coming, Daddy?"
Sa katanungan na niyang iyon ako natawa.
"Are you excited for your sister? Do you promise you won't get jealous?" I teased him.
"No, I won't, Daddy. I'll love her and take care of her and I'll even let her borrow my toys!"
My heart clenched and I got teary eyed because of his reply. Looking at my little boy, isa-isang nanumbalik sa akin ang nakaraan.
