The boys were coming over after I wasn’t sure how they would take to Jay being here after everything that he had done. They weren’t even on talking terms with him, the night was going to be good. Not.
Jay had been fussing around like a headless chicken on fire getting everything sorted. He wanted everything to get perfect, but I don’t think the boys will see it like that, not after he cheated. We all used to be close until then. The door knocked and I answered it. I didn’t need a frantic Jay answering it and having them leave. Especially after all the effort he had put in.
