Chapter Two

Leigh started to wake as the sun began to shine through the window. Leigh opened her eyes to find Aeryn with his back towards her as he undressed. She knew she should look away, but could not bring herself to do so. She watch as he undressed carefully remembering every detail of his muscular body. He turned around now faceing Leigh, and she quicky pretended to still be sleeping. She continued to secretly watch while Aeryn dressed himself taking in every detail she could. Once Aeryn pulled his shirt over his head Leigh popped her eyes opened like she just woke up.

"Good morning" she chimed as she stretched and got out of bed.

"I ordered breakfast to be brought to the room." Aeryn replied adding "I also ordered you a bath and had your clothes taken to the landry."

"Looks like I will be wearing your shirt for a while longer." Leigh teased referring to the shirt she was wearing "You might never get it back."

Before Aeryn could respond there was a knock and the door and Aeryn opened it. The guard brought in two plates and two cups on a tray. He walked across the room and placed the tray on the table in the corner of the room.

"Thank you, Randir" Leigh said with a smile catching his eyes with hers.

Randir bowed as he his eyes wandered down Leigh's slender body. His eyes rested on high on her thighs where Aeryn's shirt stopped. He could almost see her treasure spot. His eyes become dark and lustful. You could almost read his thoughts.

"Anything else Randir!"Aeryn questioned glaring at Randir snapping him out of his thoughts.

Randir bowed again and quickly left the room. Leigh took a seat at the table and took her plate. She had eggs, bacon, pancakes and fruit. She sat quietly eating here breakfast when another knock on the door came. Aeryn opened the door and Randir came in with two buckets of hot steaming water. He was followed by a woman with brown hair that was starting to gray, she also carried two buckets of hot water. Randir sat the buckets by the tub then he turned to leave. Randir soon returned with two more buckets of water that placed by the tub and quickly exited the room.

"I have something to tend to this morning before we depart" Aeryn said as grabbed his coat and headed for the door.

"You have an hour and a half before we leave, and Randir will be with me." He added closing the door behind him.

Leigh finshed her breakfast and smiled at the lady making her bath.

"I am Leigh" she said trying to make conversation.

"I am Connie" the woman replied "I run this inn with my husband, Owen."

"It is very lovely" Leigh replied " and lovely to meet you."

"Your bath is ready, Dear" Connie told her "I will bring you clothes up shortly"

"Enjoy you bath" Connie called as she closed the door behind her.

Leigh was alone now and the steam from the water was calling her. She pulled Aeryn's shirt over head and tossed it on the bed. She walked over and stepped in the tub. The hot water felt good against her skin. She sat down in the tub and bathed her self. She liked the soap it smelled like roses. When she was done bathing see closed her eyes and relaxed in the water.

"I can't believe Aeryn's body!" She thought to herself "He is so damn sexy."

She recalled the image of Aeryn naked body. She found herself becoming wet and tingling between her thighs as she thought about every inch of his body. There was a knock at the door. Leigh answered it. Connie was delivering her clothes.

"Sound like you enjoyed your bath." Connie said smiling at Leigh giving her the clothes.

"I did very much" Leigh replied returning the smile, slightly blushing and closed the door.

She leaned her back against the door, fighting tears.Leigh found a way to relieve her frustration with her attraction to Aeryn, which was only increased by the day. She knew that this was only temporary and she would need the real thing sooner or later.Leigh pulled herself from her thoughts and wiped her eyes.She put on her traveling clothes. She made sure to conceal here twin daggers. Leigh put on her cloak and went to find the others.

They still had two more days on the road before reaching Applegate. Tonight would be the most dangerous she thought. Aeryn and all those that followed him would have to camp on the road. Leigh knew exactly what to look out for and would do her best to keep everyone safe. She also knew that she would not sleep tonight. There are unknown evils on the road at night.
