Randir walked down the busy street, his spinning from what he just witnessed. He watched the gods save Leigh's life. He also learn there was a payment. Randir knew the gods sometimes intervened, his was glad they did, but he couldn't unstand why. Why would they want Aeryn to choose Leigh as his wife? He knew there feels for each other. He just felt like there was something more. Aeryn choosing Leigh would leave Moondale without a queen and possibly with out a king. He couldn't wrap his mind around why the gods would want that. Randir made his way back to the mansion and slipped upstairs. He wasn't ready to deal with anyone yet. Randir wasn't sure of his own feels about this yet, he need sometime to think. Randir sat behind his desk still trying to make sense of it. He thought of the King and what he might say and, do once s he learned his son had taken a half elf wife. He also worried about his peoples and their reaction to the news. Randir knew that Aeryn would marry Leigh regardless of the consequences. He had made his bargain and owed his debt. Randir was happy for his friends but could not help to worry. Hunger pang in Randir's belly breaking him from his thoughts. He washed his face and walked to the door of his room. Randir grabbed the hand, took a deep breath readying himself before walking out. Randir arrived in the dining not surprised to see how many eye were upon. Only a few had seen the Prince and everyone had questions. Randir took a seat and sat with a few of the guardsmen. He was quickly servered by a young woman he recognize from the day before. "Captain, when will the Prince return?" a guard asked. "In a couple of days, I am not sure, but not long." Randir answered "Tomorrow, I want everyone on duty." Randir began. "Keep your eyes open to the coming and going of everyone." "If you notice anything tell me immediately" Randir ordered. "Yes, captain" all the men replied. Randir wasn't sure what to do Aeryn and Leigh. The more he thought about the more he liked the idea of their union. A happy man rules much better king than a broken one. Aeryn losing Leigh would have destroyed him. "You look deep in thought" a familiar voice roused him. "Malenetha." Randir greeting her. "Would you walk in the garden with me, I need the advice of cleric." Randir asked her. Malenetha agreed and Randir lead her to the garden. Randir walked through the garden untill he was sure they were alone. "Mal, I need to ask you something about Parnella and Helme." Randir said. "Would they ever align with one another?" Randir asked "I suppose they would, they would likey take intrest in the same type of things." Malenetha replied "They are very smilar deities." Malenetha added. "So its possible they have the same goal." Randir wondered aloud. "Yes, I assume they could." Malenetha answered not realizing Randir wasn't talking to her. "Will you meet at the temple in the morning?" Randir asked her. "I will, do you need me to offer more prayers?" She asked. "I want to show you something." He answered. They walked through the garden together for a while just chatting. Randir found Malenetha present a comfort to him. He found his mind ease snd his worry met away. Malenetha smile made him forget everything else. Colors kissed the clouds as the sun began to set. Randir and Malenetha sat on a bench and watched its descent. Randir took Malenetha hand in his as the last bit of vanished. They made their was back to the entrance of the mansion still hand and hand.
