I pulled my hair in frustration as I moved back and forth in my dark room. These thoughts were messing my mind. I didn't like this feeling. I don't want to feel like this. I hated these f****d up feelings. My body collided on the vase stand causing it to fall down. Fregments flew all around me just as the vase collided with the tiled floor. The door burst open and Lucca came rushing in. He looked at me from top to bottom before his gaze landed on the shattered vase on the floor. He sighed heavily as he walked to me. "What the hell is even wrong with you?", his voice showed his exhaustion. I looked away, not wanting to talk right now. "I can't talk to you right now, so please leave.", I managed to say in low voice, even though I felt like my wind pipe was constricting. "Ryan-", he was disappointed. "Just leave me alone, Lucca.", I burst out not being able to hold back anymore. "You missed my party even after you knew how important it was and then you still have the nerve to burst out at me. You're one real asshole, you know... Go, f**k yourself.", he stormed out of the door huffing and puffing, leaving me even more exaggerated. I lumped down on the floor, holding my face in my hands. I f****d up big times. Seems like everything in this universe is determined to go against me. ••••••••••••••••••••••• I spotted Rowan on one of the tables in the middle of the vast meeting room just as I entered, with Xavier behind me. I walked to his table, standing Infront of him. His eyes glinted just as they landed on me. He stood up causing the chair to move back with a screech. A smile made its way up to his lips on seeing Xavier. He engulfed Xavier in a brotherly hug as he walked to his side. He patted his head. "What's up kiddo?", he asked Xavier in a loving tone to which he was briefly replied with a "Fine". He again looked at me then back at Xavier. "Xavy! Would you please go and sit there while we have a small talk.", he pointed at the cushion placed by the walls which were quite far enough for our conversation to be inaudible. Xavier nodded and walked away. "Let's keep the conversation as short as possible.", I told not looking at him as I sat in front of him. "Won't you even greet your brother properly?" "I don't think I need to bother." "How've you been?" "Not your business." "Ryan-" "Straight to business, Rowan." I said roughly. "Get Jace out.", he demanded with equal roughness. "There's no reason to." "He's got a family." "Do I care?" "How can you not care?" "Cuz that fucker never cared too. He was a r****t, a smuggler, a druggie, alcoholic. What's even left? And in my opinion, its better that his family is alone, rather than being with a sick criminal like him.", I burst out. Rowan nodded someone to stay back, behind me, which I assume is Xavier. "So, you will leave his family to starve to death?", he mockingly raised a brow. "I will support them financially... about anything else... I think... they should help there own selves. We've lived on our own too. They'll learn too. It's better if that fucker stays away from them.", I stood up straightening my suit. "Don't mess with them, Ryan.", "I don't f*****g care." "Would you still not, if that little doll is involved?", I didn't need to think twice to know who he was talking about. I gritted my teeth. "Don't. f*****g. Even. Go. Close. To. Her." "Why? She would be a pretty fine prostitute with that-", I jumped on him grabbing him by his neck but he didn't fight back. He groaned as I smashed his head on the table. Once. Twice. Until Xavier pushed me away. I landed on the floor, flying. I stood up panting. "Don't you dare go as far as even thinking about her.", I growled at the top of my lungs before I turned around. "They're dangerous people.", His hoarse voice echoed in the room. I walked out not sparing him even a single glance with Xavier followed behind me. ••••••••••••••••••••
