CHAPTER TWO: DETENTION 2

( It was the next day and news about the five killers had spread like wide fire).

SAM: Wake up man we got class today.

JACOB: Can't we just skip school today?

SAM: No we can't man , it will suspicious.

JACOB: Fair enough.

SAM: But do you think one of us could be the killer.

JACOB: To be honest I don't know.

(They both got ready for class).

(Walking to class Jacob and Sam here's a voice calling them and it was Evie, Diane and Lisa).

EVIE: Hey guy's have you heard.

SAM: Heard what?

EVIE: People are i killed my Blake and that I asked you to help me.

JACOB: Well did you?

EVIE: Of course i did not, are you seriously asking me that.

JACOB: Well i don't know who to trust.

SAM: Come on man.

JACOB: part from you, you know I trust you.

DIANE: Well it has to have been one of us, i mean who else was in the class with us.

JACOB: Well Mr Peter did leave the class early, am just saying maybe he's the killer, because if it's not any of us here it has to be someone else.

SAM: And he was the only one there.

LISA: Well your not wrong.

DIANE: So to Mr Peter we go.

( They all went to Mr Peter office to ask him few questions).

EVIE: Good morning sir.

MR PETER: Good morning, and to what do i owe this visit.

EVIE: uh Sir we where wondering if you maybe saw something suspicious on your way out of detention.

MR PETER: Well i did not.

SAM: are you sure.

MR PETER Yes i am

SAM: Am not sure i believe that, because i know the six of us did not do it and there was one other person there and it was you, so call me crazy but I don't think your telling us everything ( speaking in a loud voice)

MR PETER: Well I'll tell you what i saw, i saw six students in detention and only five walked out so i don't know about you but I think it's pretty clear who the killers are, So if you would excuse me I have some work to do.

(They all left Mr Peter office with reason's to believe that he may be the killer).

(It was lunch time and Sam and the other where setted together and had all eyes on them).

SAM: Who else thinks that Mr Peter is hiding something.

JACOB: Me.

DIANE: Me, there was something about the way he talked back there.

LISA: Yeah i agree.

EVIE: But it's not like we can do anything about it, I mean it's not like we could just go into his office and look for some evidence.

SAM: And that is exactly what where doing.

EVIE: You do know i said that as a joke right.

SAM: How about we wait till he has a class and then we just sneak into his office easy pizzy.

DIANE: And look for what exactly.

SAM: I don't know anything that ties him to the murder maybe the poison.

JACOB: Or his search history check if he searched anything about a posion or how to make one, what am i saying if we are caught sneaking into his office we might arrested you know that right.

SAM: Man it's worth the shot.

DIANE: And when this all a proved to nonsense then what, you know not all of us has it easy like you guys, me and my brother are here on scholarships if I screw up one more time i lose my scholarship.

SAM Well incase you haven't noticed, our lives are screwed already, i mean everyone looks at us as killers already and it's only time before detective Karl cones back again with a new evidence because she clearly doesn't like us.

LISA: Hey let's just give it a try.

SAM: So who's in.

JACOB: Well brothers for lives so am in.

EVIE: Well am in to.

LISA: Count me in as well.

SAM: Well Diane.

DIANE: If we get caught am never speaking to any of you again.

SAM: Fair enough.

SAM: So here's the plan, after lunch Mr Peter has a class to attend to which is when will go in his office.

EVIE: Buh there's a problem we don't have the keys.

SAM: Your right but I got that covered, Evie your the student council President he trusts you more than he trusts any of us, so you'll go to his office before he leaves and leave like a window opened.

DIANE: Wow so it's a break in now.

SAM: Well it's not a break in if we don't break anything think of like a new way of entering people office without being detected.

SAM: Once Evie leaves the window opened me, Jacob and Lisa will enter while Diane keeps watch out, So everyone understands the plan.

JACOB: Yes we do.

SAM: Ok we got like 15 minutes to spare.

( the 15 minutes was over and it was time for the plan).

(Evie went to Mr Peter office).

EVIE: Good afternoon sir.

MR PETER: Not you again, please as you can see am headed out I have in class so please I don't have time for you silly theories about me.

EVIE: Sir I think the other four did it?

MR PETER: Aee you serious (replied shockingly), what made you said that.

EVIE: You said you have a class let's talk about it on the way they.

MR PETER: Well ok.

(Leaving the office she quickly opens the window).

SAM: ok there out.

(Jacob, Sam and Lisa quickly sneaks into his office).

SAM: I'll take the desk.

JACOB: I got the laptop.

LISA: I'll keep look out from the door.

(After 5 minutes of looking).

JACOB: Sam you found anything.

SAM: No, you.

JACOB: Nothing.

SAM: He's got nothing here the man might be clean.

LISA: Guys Evie just texted me Mr Peter is coming back, we got to go.

( Just as they where about to leave Jacob saw something suspicious on Mr Peter's laptop).

SAM: Jacob we got to go.

JACOB: Just a sec.

( Immediately after they left Mr Peter walks into his office).

LISA: That was a close call.

SAM: I can't believe we did all that for nothing.

DIANE: I did try to warn you, Mr Peter is clean.

SAM: Well we tried.

(Evie met up with them).

EVIE: So did you find anything.

DIANE: No they did not it was a big waste of time.

SAM: Yeah what she said.

EVIE: So what so we do now.

DIANE: We do nothing, it's not first time a person has died in crimson and it definitely won't be the last, Let's just let the cops do their jobs.

SAM: how can you say that.

LISA: Guys I think she's right, I mean it's not the first time a person been found dead in crimson.

EVIE: Well she does have a point.

SAM: Ok.

(They heard there names through the schools speaker).

PRINCIPAL: Evie Flair, Sam Matthews, Lisa James, Diane Keller and Jacob Jordan please report to my office.

(They all went to the principal office and detective Karl was there).

SAM: sir you asked to us.

PRINCIPAL: Yes i did, Detective Karl has some questions to ask you.

DETECTIVE KARL: Oh yes please if you would excuse us principal.

PRINCIPAL: Oh yes.

( The principal left his office).

DETECTIVE KARL: So do you all have anything to tell me.

JACOB: No we told everything.

DETECTIVE KARL: Did you, because we checked all your Transfer account and at exactly 4pm you all transferd 500 dollars to the same account.

JACOB: It's rude to check someone's transaction history second at that time we where all at detention.

SAM: yeah and we did not take our phones.

DETECTIVE KARL: Any witnesses.

EVIE: Yes Mr Peter was the person who specifically took our phones.

DETECTIVE KARL: and where is this Mr Peter.

JACOB: He should be in his office.

( goes out and ask the principal to call Mr Peter).

PRINCIPAL: Mr Peter please report to the my office).

DETECTIVE KARL: So Mr Peter this kids said they gave you their phones in detention is that correct.

MR PETER: they did no such thing.

SAM: Wait what.( replied shockingly)

DETECTIVE KARL: So they did not give you their phones, but did you see any of them with their phones.

MR PETER: I can't say.

SAM: (Whispering in a low voice) do you still think he's clean.

DETECTIVE KARL: After hearing that, Sam Matthews, Lisa James, Diane Keller, Jacob Jordan, Evie Flair you are under arrest for the possible murder of Blake Jones you have the right to remain silent Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to speak to an attorney, and to have an attorney present during any questioning.

( As they walked out of the school students

started snapping them).

( Police interrogation room).

DETECTIVE KARL: So Lisa where you with your phone in detention.

LISA: No I was not.

DETECTIVE KARL: So why did your teacher say he say he did not collect your phone in detention.

LISA: I don't know.

DETECTIVE KARL: Are you sure.

LISA: Yes i am.

DETECTIVE KARL: You know, you could spend a lot of time in jail where looking at least 17 years but if you tell me anything just anything that maybe I could help get you 10years.

LISA: Well I have told you everything i know already.

DETECTIVE KARL: Ok but if the time comes remember i gave a opportunity.

LISA: Will do.

DETECTIVE KARL: Bring in the next one.

( Lisa left the interrogation room and next was Evie).

DETECTIVE KARL: Ms Evie students council President, valedictorian in your middle school, and prom queen, so can you me why you who'd kill your boyfriend sorry excuse me your ex boyfriend.

EVIE:I did not kill him.

DETECTIVE KARL: So do you know who did it.

EVIE: No.

DETECTIVE KARL: I have multiple people who says that they say you in fight with Ms Blake is that true.

EVIE: Yes

DETECTIVE KARL: And may ask why.

EVIE: I caught him cheating and I wanted to break up but he did not want to.

DETECTIVE KARL: And is it also true that Mr Matthews and Mr Jordan fought Mr Blake because of you.

DIANE: I did not.

DETECTIVE KARL: Think of what going to prison would do to your parents, so Ms Diane did you see any one with their phones in detention.

DIANE: I did not we told you already we gave all our phones to Mr Peter.

DETECTIVE KARL: bring in the next one.

( Next was Jacob).

DETECTIVE KARL: So Mr Jordans don't think that because your dad is mayor you can't go to prison believe you can, so did you and Mr Matthews fight Mr Jones hours before he died.

( Jacob did not say a word).

DETECTIVE KARL : I said did you and Mr Matthews fight Mr Jones hours before he died.

Jacob: Am not saying anything till I see my lawyer.

DETECTIVE KARL: You think your so smart.

DETECTIVE KARL: So Mr Sam.

SAM: I am not answering any of question until I see my lawyer.

( They where all going home together when Jacob notice something). JACOB: Hey guys remember back in Mr Peter office when I took some pictures of his laptop.

SAM: Yes we get it, it was a useless effort.

JACOB: No I think I found something, check this out.

( They where all looking at Jacob's phone).

DIANE: what are we looking at.

JACOB: Remember how the plan was that I checked his browser history.

SAM: So what.

JACOB: Except I saw nothing it's like he's never browsed before.

EVIE: But that's impossible.

SAM: So you saying he deleted his browser history because of evidence.

JACOB: Yeah that's what I thought at first but look at this profile name what's that.

SAM: BJ.

EVIE: Blake Jones.

(At this point we thought we had figured out everything but little did we now we just made things worst).
