Aiyana's POV i awake the next morning, dreams of that man still fresh on my mind and a smile plastered on my face. I've never been so dumbstruct by anyone before, and eventhought the new strange feelings i have are frieghtening they are also very familiar in a way. its like deep down in some hidden part of my soul it feels like warm sunshine heating me up from within. I shake my head and push the feelings aside, this man is still a stranger that ive only looked at from afar. I've never even talked to this man before i dont even know his name or if ill ever see him again so why am I even having these feelings? "enough is enough" i tell myself as i get up to get changed and ready. I wash myself up and change my clothes, gathering all my materials in my pack. pulling out my map i chart my journey to the temple of posiedon to the south, the temple is just north of Agropoli and a few miles east of the ocean. After my research at the temple I plan on taking a few hours to myself to enjoy the beach, and also find a room for the night. I finish packin together my stuff while buying my bus ticket over my cell phone, its going to take me five hours to get there so it will give me time to read some history books. as im walking out the motel i give a wave to the nice woman at the front desk, and notice theres a tall man in a dark suit smoking a cigarette outside the main office. he gives me a look and a short nod, then throws his cigarette to the ground walking away. "these italian men must really like their suits" i chuckle to myself thinking it really makes them more handsome. I keep walking to the bus stop that will take me to Agropoli, excited to begin another days adventure and to enjoy time to myself later. Anteaus's POV i was in the middle of putting on my shoes to leave when i get a call from Leo "hey boss, she's headed on a bus to Agropoli. do you think shes connected to the Romano's?" I furrow my brows confused, why would she be going to the same place we are going? "im not sure but this cant just be a coincidence. keep a guy on her and report anything suspicious." i hang up the phone putting it away in my suit pocket. im asking myself all sorts of questions about this woman, im conflicted from all angles with a range of mixed emotions from suspision to excitement. either way they are all making me rush out the door even faster, maybe i can get some answers or even talk to her. that thought alone got my heart beating faster in anticipation. i dont even know this woman but even now the thought of getting closer to me makes my heart want to leap from my chest. all these feelings are so unusuall and have me on a bit of an edge. i have to find out if this woman if a friend or foe, because shes pulling me in like a rip tide. i impatiently wait for the elevator to get to the main floor and stride out the building towards gianni with my door open. "thank you" i say as i get in the car, and he quickly closes it behind me to get into the drivers seat. i start going through my emails and make short calls to my people sending out orders, then this way i can drown out thoughts of her until later. Aiyana's POV as i walk up to the temple i just stare in awe of the beautiful building standing before me thinking of how beautiful it must of been when it was first built. the collums stand tall above the people in all its glory, even in its weathered state its still a beautiful creation. i would give anything to go back in time to experience all this history. i make my way closer towards the rows of tall collums taking in the scenery, and i notice theres people laying down flowers, wine, food, and coins in the center on what looks like an altar. its not only local peoples, but some tourists too, any by surprise she notices some men dressed in suits depositing offerings as well. jeeze i didnt think everyone wore suits... wait didnt i see that guy before... i stare at the man and the realization hit that it was the same man outside the main office this morning. i felt like i was being followed and decided to push the feeling aside, i am not going to let this deter me from enjoying my adventure. i carry on and decide to make an offering aswell, making my way up the steps and inside the ruins. as i step in front of the altar i pull out my note book and rip out a page i had drawn on. it was a simple drawing of a dolphin jumping out of the water, i place the picture down and set a few coins on top of it. "i know its not much but i hope you enjoy the picture, and please bless my journeys and my family. many thanks to all the gods and blessed be" as i softly spoke the words to the gods, a warm feeling rushed through me with a smile on my face. a memory of those cerulean blue eyes flashed across my mind making my cheeks warm slightly. i turn to move away from the altar and run smack dab into a collum, or should i say man. wide eyed i look up at the man from the previous day looking down at me with those eyes, i feel my cheeks redden as i take a step back. "i, i am so sorry i wasnt looking where i was going." i stutter failing to hide my embarassment. "No my appologies, are you okay?" he asked polietly, with a hint of concern in his eyes. "yes. im okay, im just kinda a clutz." i offer a shy smile before gaining the courage to ask him "are you the man i seen yesterday at the fountain?" he looked slightly ammused before replying with a smile of his own. "yes, i am Anteaus Marinos. a pleasure to make your aquaintence" he offered out his hand for me to shake, and as i took it i replied "im Aiyana Kouris. nice to meet you. could i offer you some coffee or some lunch as an appology for running into you?" he gives me a dazling smile that took my breath away, i almost didnt hear him when he replied. "yes id like that, but my treat. i could never let such a lovely woman pay for me" as i was about to reject him paying he quickly says "it would be my honor." i sigh and relent to his dazling smile. "okay, but i am definitely paying next time." he gives me a small chuckle and a mischevious grin. "oh so theres going to be a 'next time'" he offers out his arm for me to take. what a true gentleman. i take his arm in mine and he begins leading us away. "theres no telling how much more trouble id cause you, im a walking hazard sign. if im not researching every single detail around me or stuck in a book i tend to cause unintentional harm to myself or others" i give him an embarrassed laugh while my rational mind screams at me. Aiyana you are so embarrassing stop running your mouth! nobody needs to know these ambarrassing details about you oh my gods! he lets out a sweet laugh, and i swear my heart swooned at the beautiful sound. "well just hang onto me, ill be sure to keep you out of harms way. The cafe we are going to is right on the beach, so if i cant catch you in time you will atleast have a soft landing" he looked down at me his eyes alight with laughter as he joked with me, my cheeks warming as i look away. "thank you" He led me to his car, to my surprise there was a man there holding the door open for us to enter. This man must be someone important. After we settle into our seats I start to make conversation, "So Anteaus, What do you do for work?" he looked uneasy for a beat until he regained his stoic composure. "well i play a small hand in politics, but mainly im the CEO of a fishing and distribution company. we are in the atlantic, through the mediteranean, all the way to the indian ocean. we also distribute the catches worldwide." i stare at him stunned, i have to clench my jaw shut to keep it from flopping open. "what is it that you do Aiyana?" he asked. i couldnt miss the way my name rolled off his tounge sounding like an angels breath. "oh me, i am in college. well technically im taking a gap year to backpack around europe to study ancient history and culture. i major in archeology and anthropology, and minor in history. right now im studying ancient roman greek culture, but after another month or so im hoping to make it to egypt. ancient egypt is my second favorite culture after greek roman culture." i look up at him excitedly, and he looks down at me keeping a smile on his face but in his eyes is someting unrecognisable. "that sounds megaloprepís" we pull up to the cafe and its a stunning view of the sea, white sand beach with cerulean blue water. its nestled into the side of a cliff as if it were just an extension of the rock surrounding it. he lends me his arm to hold as he leads us inside, but we bypass the other people and staff heading to a door in the back. hy heart starts to race begining to become nervous and slightly scared. now ive done it, trusting a complete stranger whos now going to murder me or sell me away. i slightly pull back from him a bit hesitant as hes trying to lead me through the door. i am such a gulible i***t!
