After eating,

Tan invited jasmine for a walk round the garden and talk so he could get to know her better.

jasmine naturally agreed and they both walked towards the garden.

jasmine had visited the garden few days back so she’s well familiar with the route,she walks side by side with tan.

Tan on the other hand walks slowly so as to match jasmine’s pace.

‘How do you like the house’

Tan asked suddenly

Caught off guard,jasmine replied clumsily

‘Er. . .very nice. . .I mean it’s great’

It sounded so awkward and half hearted she scolded herself inwardly, it isn’t her fault he is so attractive .

‘Sorry,I mean I really love it,the library,the garden,the farm,everything is very beautiful and heart warming ,there are lot of trees and it makes the air fresh And peaceful. I’ve had the best days of my life since I came here’

Jasmine replied after calming down,tan was stunned,he did expect an awkward reply but was glad she’s finally loosing up and talking to him.

‘I’m glad,please talk more casually,i would love it if you were to be more comfortable around me’

‘Hehehe sure’

They finally arrived at the garden,

Turns out the flowers here were all planted by tan and they are 90 percent of roses apparently his mom loves roses a lot, looks like tan is a mama boy.

Tan takes jasmine round the very big garden showing her the flowers and their meaning.

From jasmine’s point of view tan is a very romantic and sweet person which makes his very attractive.

Tan on the other hand sees jasmine as a great listener and companion,she listened to all his talks and gave sincere and accurate reactions.

In a nutshell they were a good match✨

Time passed quickly Tan and jasmine lost track of time ,they watered,pruned ,thinned and wiped the plants.

Their hands and clothes were a mess from the sand ,they went to wash up before dinner.

Mrs Wong already prepared a table full of exquisite dishes she made all of jasmine’s and tan’s favourite food.

After taking her bath, jasmine sat in front of her mirror drying her hair,she couldn’t help but think back to when she was taking care of the plants and almost got herself poked by a big a*s cactus tan pulled her towards his chest immediately,she was on his soft but muscular chest,flustered,her cheeks a bright red color she pulled back from him and held her face ,her breathing quickened and she couldn’t look tan in the eye.

Seeing her reaction,Tan laughed and found it reallly cuteee she was so shy the obvious blush only made her cuter and made his heart flutter.

jasmine snapped out of her thoughts smiling ,brushed and packed her hair then left for the dining table.

On getting there,Tan was already waiting seated,hair was still a little damp and his had changed into his white pyjamas he looked like an angel with divine facial features.

Jasmine caught a glimpse of his chest from his one loose button,she remembered touching him when he pulled her away from the cactus,she blushed again,Tan noticing Priscilla reaction chuckles and asks her to seat.

Jasmine pulled the chair closest to Tan and sits,Tan clearly satisfied began to fill jasmine’s plate with food.

They both ate quietly with tan occasionally filling jasmine plate with food and she ate obediently.

After dinner,Tan invited jasmine to his private lounge to talk.

jasmine got nervous ,different thoughts going through her mind.

‘Let’s just get it done’

She thought

On getting to tan’s longe,she knocks and opens the door slowly,Tan’s secretary was there with him obviously discussing work, jasmine seeing he was busy whispers

‘Ah…I’ll come back’

As she was about to leave ,tan calls her back

‘ jasmine it’s fine just come sit,I’ll soon be done’

Secretary Gu looked at the young master ,they were discussing something confidential and important but he allowed jasmine sit and listen,looks he trusts her a lot.

‘Young master the Taiwan retail branch president is apparently embezzling the funds meant for the salary of the mangers and part timers,they haven’t been paid in roughly 2 years’

‘Isn’t uncle in charge of the Taiwanese branch?’

‘He is but old master said to solve this pending problem as the workers are protesting ‘

Tan naturally understood the old man’s intentions,family matters shouldn’t be known to the public,but this is a big mess and his uncle wouldn’t get out of this easily,at least he would make sure he doesn’t .

‘Get me every information about the Taiwanese branch,the total of part timers and managers and the amount to be paid to them’

‘….’

‘Also there would be a press conference in 3 days uncle would apologise to the part timers and managers,tell that to the old man.’

‘But that…would he be willing?’

‘It’s either that or he goes to jail for not paying salaries and embezzlement…give my instructions to him in the coldest way possible’

‘Yes young master,I’ll get the documents ready.’

‘Good’

Secretary gu bows and leaves for work.

‘Sorry for keeping you waiting jasmine,please come seat here’

He points to a seat in front of him.

Jasmine moves to seat in front of Tan,still nervous she looked as stiff as a tree.

‘Hehehe,I’m not going to eat you up,calm down I called to discuss your plans about college and course of study,I already told you I wouldn’t tie you down or disturb you from doing whatever you want to.’

jasmine hearing this was moved to tears,she wipes her teary face gently and took a while to calm down

‘I. . . I’m so grateful Tan, I honestly almost gave up on my life when I heard I was being sent off,not like I was living my best life at the Antonio’s but at least they were ‘family’ i. . .at least I could still survive as long as I washed a few plates,clothes and clean,thinking of leaving there suddenly was terrifying even though I didn’t want to stay forever’

‘. . .’

‘Th. . .than. . . Thank you for giving me a chance tan’

‘I wouldn’t disappoint you’

Jasmine concluded the gaze in her eyes affirmed her statement ,she finally found a place to call home and she would cherish every piece of it.

Tan clearly moved by Jasmine moved across to jasmine’s side to comfort her.He hugs her gently and taps her head softly while jasmine releases her pent up emotions and cries softly in his arms.Even though she is a strong woman,she has her limits and soft spots which she hasn’t shown to anyone but tan because he is the first ever person to be nice to her apart from her mother.

Jasmine has been through a lot all these years ,acting all tough and strong but now she lets go of everything and looks so vulnerable in Tan’s arms while tan just continues to hug and comfort her regardless of how long it takes.

A woman and man hugging under the dim lights in the room,soft sounds of sobs could be heard occasionally as the woman cries while clinging onto the man.The man sits quietly and lets her cry and hold him while he comforts her gently.A pleasing sight to the eye .
