After eating her snacks,Jasmine called it a day and stopped reading.
Tan accompanied her for a walk so she could digest her food.
The two walk slowly under the moonlight enjoy the cool and serene view of Tan’s mansion.
Tan had his hands behind his back while Jasmine hands fall by her side.As the weather was a bit cool jasmine clothes are thin so she embraces herself in hope to warm up a little.
Tan notices jasmine and pulls out his jacket for her,he wrapped her in his big knitted jacket and tapped her forehead softly.
Jasmine felt warmth all over her body and the remains of the warmth from Tan’s hands spread although her face as she flushed red.
Tan sees this and smiles ‘Jas you seem to get red quickly these days,am I getting more attractive or . . .’
He pauses as he moved closer to her face.
Jasmine pulls back quickly and looks at the other side.Her heart started beating like crazy ,she held on to the jacket which still contains Tan’s warmth and scent.
Tan sees jasmine reaction and felt even more satisfied,teasing her gives him so much joy and her reactions are so cute he couldn’t get enough of it.
Tan holds jasmine on the shoulder and had her face him,he tucks a loose strand of her hair behind her ears and looks her straight in the eye.
‘Jasmine, you. . .You look so pretty today.’
That did it!.
Jasmine lost it,her face turned completely red and she looked down and almost immediately runs far away ,as far as her legs could carry her.
Tan laughed hard and pursued her.
Jasmine knowing she can’t outrun Tan stops and turns suddenly.
Tan was caught off guard and he bumps into Jasmine and they both fall on the soft grass.
Jasmine closes her eyes hard like her life depends on it and Tan just stays there enjoying the view.Her hair was a mess and he tucks it away softly and gently from her face.
‘Open your eyes jasmine’
Tan said with the deepest emotions in his eyes and voice.They have been living together for a month now and he almost control himself whenever he sees her it’s like she does something unexplainable to him.
He likes this feeling a lot.
The feeling of sincerely wanting to love ,protect and care for someone.
Jasmine opens her eyes slowly,because she had her eyes closed tight her eyes got a little watery and sparkly under the moonlight.
Tan got lost in her eyes,it felt as though they were the only one in the world.
Tan regains his composure and pulls back slowly while helping jasmine up .
He wraps her in a warm hug and whispers in her ears
‘Can I?’
Jasmine had no idea what he meant ,she looked at him looking completely innocent and clueless.
Tan smiles and brushed his finger against her nose softly.
‘Let’s go in it’s cold .’
Tan walks jasmine to her room,they both were completely silent.
Jasmine kept thinking about what tan meant when he said can I.
She really had no idea.
Why didn’t he finish his words?
She tried not to think much into it but she felt maybe just maybe . . ‘. Does tan?’
‘Eyyy no. . . It’s not possible to a person like me.’
She thought.
They soon arrived at jasmine’s room and she tells tan goodnight while avoiding eye contact.
Tan smiles and pat her head gently before her left.
Jasmine enters her room and closes the door gently,she rests her back on the door and thinks about everything that just happened,it felt magical,never in her life would she have thought Tan would be so warm to her .
She thought about how she lived before and it seemed like long ago.Tan has been so nice to her she almost forgot how she lived her life before coming here.
She sits on the floor and sobs softly.
she thought;
‘Do I deserve this.’
Tan walks back to his room,he feels a step closer to jasmine and almost couldn’t control himself just now.
It took him a lot of self control to not tell her how he felt.
He didn’t want to scare her by moving too fast,he wanted to take things slow and be sure jasmine is interested in him before he courts her.
He thought back to her reaction just now and he smiles brightly,his eyes glistening as he thought of jasmine the one and only woman that makes his heart flutter.
Since jasmine came into his house,the mansion felt warm everywhere and he looked forward to going home everyday.Before jasmine arrival,he always worked late at night with no track of time ,he just works works and works till he gets exhausted and goes home to sleep.
He didn’t even notice how beautiful his mansion is until jasmine started living in.
He designed the mansion himself but still felt it was lacking ,jasmine completes it .
She adds the warmth he has never received from anyone to his life.
It should be known that although his parents and grandparents dote on him they were hard on him and put a lot of pressure on him being the only child of his parents .
Tan left home at the age of 18 to live independently because he just didn’t feel at home ,he always felt used and pressured every time.
He had always been training to take over the company at the age of 5, he had no friends,he wasn’t allowed to play with toys or even have any.
He was alone and it remained like that up until jasmine came into his life.
Every other persons just wanted something from him.
Tan lays on his bed and thinks about jasmine;her doe eyes, her pretty lips,her soft gaze,her gentle and humble attitude,her soft hair ,her sweet smile and her warmth that spreads all through the house.
He has gotten so used to her he can’t imagine life without her.
Jasmine truly is his home.
