THE NEXT DAY, it was seven in the evening. Keith had called Sylvia to get dressed for a dinner with Jaden at seven. There was a knock on her room door and she guessed it was Keith. Glancing at the clock, she noted that he was prompt, and smiled. The two friends were very similar, yet different. She opened the door and flashed a grin at Keith who stood at the door dressed in jeans, a black T-shirt, and a white blazer. “You’re prompt,” she told him.
