Sydney I looked around the room assigned to me in the staff quarters. It wasn’t as luxurious as the one in the tent, but I would manage. At least I wouldn’t impose on Killian all the time. His mood swings, his obsession, and his temper tantrums confused me. I couldn’t understand what he wanted from me. Heck! I couldn’t even know if he liked me. One minute, he took me out on a date; the other, he showered hateful threats on me.
