Grey and Tahnee walked into the kitchen. Smiles were on both their faces. They had heard the shout from Slaton and felt the joy that coursed through him. Each was thinking it was about time the two had come to an agreement. Brenna was enveloped in a bear hug by Grey. Tahnee pulled her close with tears in her eyes. Here was the daughter she had been waiting almost three decades for. Slaton was slapped on the back by his dad and hugged by his mother. For a few glorious moments the sadness and shock of earlier was gone. Happiness and celebration were now in order. Tahnee clapped her hands to get everyone's attention. “Well, since no one has had breakfast and it is more like lunch time now, how about we eat and then get on with everything we have to do?
