Grey had managed to get Tahnee back in the house. Both of them were soaked through from the rain. He sat her on the kitchen chair and left her while he got towels to wipe the rainwater off of them. Shivers racked her body from the chill and her pain. Grey realized that hot tea was not going to make a difference now. This pain was too much. He put his arm around her waist and put the other under her knees. Tahnee laid her head on his shoulder as he carried her into their bedroom.
