"Babe, there's a chance we won't have to go to war. Let's take it one step at a time and try not to worry too much. I'm confident they'll back down after the next meeting," I reassured Ava, looking into her eyes.
"James, she's your Luna when it comes to pack politics, not just your mate," Jack interjected, rolling his eyes.
I suppose Jack felt I was disregarding Ava's role as Luna. Ava was still my mate, though.
"I actually like it when James calls me babe," Ava chimed in, smiling at me.
I needed to remember that and call her babe more often. I would do anything to please this woman.
"Yes, but James does need to address you as the Luna during these discussions. And I should do the same during pack meetings," Ace agreed, supporting Jack's point.
