Anna moved to grab Emily, but Emily deftly sidestepped.
Unexpectedly, Anna stumbled backward from the momentum, crashing into the sharp edge of a nearby table. Clutching her abdomen with both hands, her lips trembled, "Ouch! Someone, please, save my baby!"
At that moment, Joseph stormed through the door. From his perspective, it seemed as though Emily had merely waved her arm, causing Anna to fall. He rushed forward, scooping Anna into his arms, and glared fiercely at Emily.
"If anything happens to Anna or her child, you'll feel the full force of my fury," he warned before hurrying away with Anna in his arms.
Emily caught sight of Anna, nestled in Joseph's arms, flashing her a smug, taunting smile. Her lips moved as if to say something, but Emily couldn't read lips and was left in the
