After a round of tests, Grandpa Robinson felt drained. He wanted to chat with Emily some more, but she gently coaxed him into lying down. Not long after, he drifted into a deep sleep.
Meanwhile, Emily headed to the attending physician's office, with Joseph tagging along.
"How's Grandpa been doing lately?" Emily asked. "Anything out of the ordinary?"
The doctor replied, "Ever since Mr. Turner brought him back last time. We managed to stabilize his condition, and there were some improvements. But since then, he's been mostly unconscious, waking only occasionally. Truthfully, I didn't expect him to wake up this early."
