Chapter 15 "I figured you'd come here sooner or later," Dace said, standing in the doorway to the hangar. Elaine Grusendorf whirled around, too absorbed in her study of the small Cessna to have heard the other woman approach. "You've been trying to find me for days," Dace continued. She stayed where she was, her hands jammed into the large pockets of her army jacket. "Something about the will?" Elaine snorted. "You know that's false. It was all I could think of." "I know. So does Kitka, for that matter. Why did you come for me? If you had left it alone, you would have been free. And I probably would have stood trial for murder." Elaine Grusendorf laughed. It was harsh ugly laugh about to go out of control. Dace winced at the sound. "You knew about what he tried to do." Dace shrugged.
