Chapter 17 Dace watched over Elaine’s shoulder as she ran through the controls on the small plane. “You damn near hit Kitka and his car,” Dace said. “Shut up.” The plane moved slowly in a circle as Elaine checked the Cessna’s maneuverability. “You do know how to fly this thing don’t you?” Dace continued in a conversational tone. “Yes.
