By the second year after Shay and Milo resigned, I officially took over the company from James Lewis.
After a full year of training, I knew every route the company offered like the back of my hand.
I had also seen Shay and Milo at industry networking events.
But by then, they no longer seemed to be a couple.
In fact, the two of them had apparently fallen out over something and stopped speaking to each other altogether.
